Elements 2.0

Apr 16, 2012 2:02 AM

Can anyone help me.

I have bought a new laptop and want to install my Photoshop elements 2.0 onto it.

The Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 disc, came with my old computer in 2005 as part of a bundle. I have no product key. so it won't let me install on my new laptop.

Is their anything I can do or will I need to buy a new Photoshop?

    Hi.

Without a product key you will not be able to activate your product. You may need to contact the manufacturer where your software was originally bundled.

Getting to all this trouble would still depend upon the operating system that you are using. If you have the latest version of OS them elements 2 will not work on this environment.

I recommend you buy the latest version of Photoshop Elements which is 10.

    Hi Springjean,

Unfortunately there is no way to install the Elements 2 on your new machine. Bundled purchases normally need intervention from the manufacturer and in this case if the manufacturers are different you will not be able to install Photoshop Elements 2.0 on your new machine.

I will suggest you to look for an upgrae to the latest version of Photoshop Elements. You can check more details on the pricing on http://www.adobe.com/products/discount-software-coupons.html.

    Thanks,

    Nikhil
