NathanLutz Calculating status...

No startup profiles

Dear all

I am using Win7 x64 and installed Adobe Creative Suite Standard CS 5.5. Everything works fine except the Illustrator.

When I open it and select File -> New Document a message appears: Can't locate startup profiles.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you for your reply! I already saw this article also tried creating a new user but it did not help. Do you have any other idea?

The following folder needs Read & Write access:
Macintosh HD:Users:(Your User Name):Library:Application Support:Adobe:Adobe Illustrator CS5

You can change this access by selecting "Get Info" on this folder, then adjust the Sharing & Permissions options so everyone can Read & Write.

NOTE: This addresses the startup profiles only; crashing on quit is a separate issue.
