Dynamic painting and losing outlines properties

Hello,

 

When I create a zone of dynamic painting on a picture with outlines in black, outlines lose their properties (sharp isn't here any more for example). Can we avoid it? I would like to keep the properties of my outlines...

Thank you for your help if you know a solution...

    Which version of Illustrator are you using?

     

    By dynamic painting you actually mean Live Paint groups?

     

    Also, specify what you mean by outlines.

     

    Provide a sample .ai file, if possible.

    Yes "Live Paint groups", I ' m sorry for my bad english...

    BB,

     

    I am still with 10 so I have no clue about Live Paint groups issues, but I have noticed that the paths on top of the general hair path have both stroke and fill. You can see it by the white parts to the left when you click the image; one of those white parts is still there on the right after the genersal colouring.

    You can't have brushes or variable width strokes inside a live paint group.

     

    You could either:

    - expand them before going into live paint

    - work with a copy of the paths in live paint

    - apply a new stroke to the live paint group via the appearance panel, but then all the stroke have to look the same

    Some would say ancient, the one before CS. But you may also say that I am still with Illy in her youth.
