I am using Win7 x64 and installed Adobe Creative Suite Standard CS 5.5. Everything works fine except the Illustrator.
When I open it and select File -> New Document a message appears: Can't locate startup profiles.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you for your reply! I checked that and there is no Folder "Adobe" in that location. Also re-installing does not create that folder. The only user account which has this folder is the domain administrator.

What happens if you uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and then reinstall?
Did you install the application so that all uisers can access it>
When you reinstalled did you first uninstall and remove the settings folder.
Explain your unistall procedure was it removed from the administrator account?
I tried the cleaner tool with the same result. The problem still persists.
I removed the whole CS with the "remove predefined settings" enabled. Afer a rebot I installed the CS with a user account which has administrative rights. I have not removed any settings folder. Where is it located?

I#f still his doesn't work then copy the Adobe Folder from the domain administrator and paste it on above path and check.
Tried this with no luck. The user has full access to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming. Personal folders such as Desktop, Favorites, Documents are redirected to a network share. Could this be the reason? If yes, how can I resolve this? Or dou have other reasons?
