854 x 480 frame size

Apr 16, 2012 4:13 PM

My source clip frame size is 854 x 480.  I don't see and presets of that size in cs5.  The closest I can find is 720 x 480 but that cuts too much off the sides.  What can I do?

You can make a Custom Desktop Sequence to those dimensions.

What are you going to do with the movie?

That would be on page 134 of the CS5 PDF

For easy searching, download the product user guide PDF(s)

The individual CS5 pages also have links to the earlier user guide pages

Simplest thing would be to create a NTSC DV - Widescreen 48 KHz Sequence setting for NTSC.

Scale your clip to fit the raster.  Do your editing.  Then, send to Encore and make a Widescreen DVD.

All I am doing is cutting something off the end of the video and burning to a dvd.
