    Do you see any difference in behavior if you turn off font auto-activation?

    Please don't post crash reports here, they may the forum un-navigable. I've edited your post and moved your crash report to http://pastebin.com/0QqBnD65. In the future, please upload th http://pastebin.com and post a link here.

    Mary's instinct is correct. The crash is taking place inside Extensis Suitcase Fusion's autoactivation plugin:

    Thread 66 Crashed:

    0   ...is.AutoActivationPlugin.ID7          0x37e22bd6 BaseCollection<DocumentElement>::operator[](int) const + 114

    1   ...is.AutoActivationPlugin.ID7          0x37e1fd3a SCIndesignPluginGlobals::GetDocumentFromDocumentList(UIDRef&) + 92

    2   ...is.AutoActivationPlugin.ID7          0x37e1a29d SuitcaseResponder::HandleMissingFont(ISignalMgr*) + 95

    3   ...is.AutoActivationPlugin.ID7          0x37e1ab52 SuitcaseResponder::Respond(ISignalMgr*) + 260

    4   ...adobe.InDesign.AppFramework          0x2d7423cf GetPlugIn + 54943

    If you are still seeing a crash after you disable font autoactivation, please try removing the plugin from /Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5/Plug-Ins/Font Activation/ExtensisFontManagementIDCS5.InDesignPlugin.

    If you continue to see a crash, please upload the new crash report so we can analyze it.
