Passing variables

Hi

 

Is it possible to pass variables from a button into Photoshop itself? For example, I have a Crop-Tool button. When I click on it, I want it to open up the crop tool, and have it set to 800px x 800 px x72 dpi. (Basically I'm looking to make a panel with maybe 20 of these crop-tool buttons, each one set to a different size.)

 

Just wondering if it's possible to do at all?
