Is there a limit to number of images in Lightroom4 web gallery?

What is the total number of images that can be in a LR4 Web HTML Gallery?  Is there a limit?  I am using Mac OS LION.

    No. It's more a question of how many pics it's reasonable to inflict on the visitor.

    I thought at sometime there was, I did a two day corporate event with around 1,000 attendees. Client wanted published on their internal web site and over the two days there was well over 1,000 images

     

    With my perceived LR 3.4 limit (and I could be wrong about the limit) and the fact I only had a few hours to deliver I used a freebie software package XnView which worked out just fine in creating a web view. Never got around to testing with LR

    You're thinking of Flash galleries where there's a 500 limit.
