Yes, Topaz Labs plugins work fine with Lr. As I recall I had a problem earlier getting the two to recognize each other ... I downloaded the most current version of Fusion from the Topaz site and re-installed same and it worked fine after that.
Sorry Butch_M for this late reply, I tried to reinstalled Topaz and still nothing. All I get is a circle of it trying to reinstall in LR4 and then it does nothing? Did you have to do anything else or just reinstall?
Are you using LR 4.0 or LR 4.1 RC ? With LR 4.0, invoking external modules will fail most of the time. This applies to any plugin and to Photoshop itself.
I did the update to LR 4.1RC and still nothing. LR will prepare photo, add copy as an edit.tiff and then just sits there and does nothing? Do you hav any other suggestions?
fotobuffflorida ... I don't have any further advice ... and I also have no issue using Topaz Fusion to access the various plugins in Lr 4.0. Perhaps you should email the folks at Topaz and see if they know of any solutions. They are usually quite responsive ... though with the various problems with Lr4 (works great for some ... nearly not at all for others) ... not sure if they will know of any fixes ...
