export to Flash issue

Hi all,

 

We've created several comps with imported illustrator documents, and these export to the Flash player as scalable vectors fine.

 

However, if we import one of these comps into the other, and then export this, the exported Flash file has the original comp as vector but the imported comp part as pixelated.

 

I hope that make sense.

    It works as designed - only root level stuff is exported as vectors. Nesting/ symbols are not supported.

    Cool, cheers for the info.

     

    Is there a way to stitch several of our output Flash movies in to one long sequence and keeping the vector data?

    You could copy&paste everything together in one comp. Other than that you could use Flash and Flash Catalyst to assemble multiple existing SWFs...

    cool, cheers.

     

    Imported the .swf movies in to Flash, put them on the same time line and output as new movie.
