Adobe Community: Cannot Save

Hi John are you trying to save the PDF by clicking on the Save button in Adobe Reader.

Does the PDF open properly in Reader and any browser?

Can you try doing the same with any other PDF?

Hi Gupta

I can open and read any pdf. The only problem is when I click 'save

as'. This problem has only occurred since I upgraded to windows 7. I

have run the repair option for Adobe, but it makes no difference.

Can you please uninstall it and then install Reader again from: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Also does it happen with any other PDF too?

Uninsulated and reinstalled. No difference. I can read ANY pdf, but

cannot save any of them.

Hi John,

Is the PDF an attachment of an E-MAIL.

Can you try doing the same with the pdf: http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_Rel easeNote_10.1.3.pdf

Hi John,

Its got to do something with the PDF itself. Can you share one of the PDF's with which you are seeing this issue?

Also is the PDF part of an email attachment.

PDF is an email attachment. Can't really send to you as they are

invoices with all my details on, sorry.

Hi,

Is your computer account a Standard user account?

If so, please go to program files->microsoft->outlook.exe, right click it , click on "Run as administrator" and then try to save the PDF.

This is when the PDF is created and rendered/previewed from Acrobat Reader and the issue is there for latest acrobat version too.

When you open the PDF in Acrobat Reader and then when you scroll it and if you have more that one page in the PDF, it gives an error saying "There was a problem reading this document (135)".

Is this a known issue in Acobat? Any resolution? Reinstalling acrobat version didn't help.
