help!
Could you please provide the exact error message you are receiving? Also what have you tried so far to resolve your difficulties? Have you run the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to automatically review your installation logs?
Its an permission related issue.
Try to give read/write permissions to the below locations:
/Applications/Adobe*
/Applications/Utilities/Adobe*
/Library/Application Support/Adobe*
/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher/
/Library/Preferences/
/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/
/Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/Adobe*
/Users/[user]/Library/Caches/Adobe*
/Users/[user]/Library/Caches/com.adobe*
/Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/Adobe*
Also, repair the disc permissions.
MANISH: how do i enable root user account?
ARPIT: i know how o repair disk permisions, i did that.... but how do i give read/write permissions to the locations u mentioned?
JEFF: so far i tried to repair disk permissions.... restastig etc... i have installed the adobe support advisor, but i dont really know wut im looking at..... wut is the program supposed to do.... from wut i unerstood, it just tells me where the mistakes are, and gives me links to possible solutions... none of the links helped...
