The type on your help topics is too small for me to read. How do I make it larger?

Most browsers will allow you to zoom in or out...

What are "most browsers?" Adobe help loads in its own browser, and own

application. What are you talking about? I use Firefox anyway, but that is

irrelevant to my question. What version of Adobe help are you using?

In all the Help files, you should be able to download a PDF of the Help files. Click the PDF icon at the upper right of the screen. In the PDF you can zoom in.

Your post came in as a question from Community Help. The only way that could have happened is if you were on the community help web page, not in an Adobe help viewer (which disappeared in CS2 or CS2, as I recall), so the question really is what version of Help are YOU using?

I've just opened the Adobe Help Viewer in CS3 and you can make the size of the text larger or smaller by right-clicking in the viewer window and choosing the appropriate command.

With most modern browsers, on a PC anyway, you can hold the control key down and using the number pad, press the + button to make the font size increase, - key to make it smaller, and the 0 (zero) key to reset to 100% size.

When I whack F1 in InDesignCS5.5, it opens up the Help in an Adobe app that is, what, an Adobe Air app? I've always hated it. For example, I was never able to get my scroll wheel to work.

I dug down into the Help app preferences on your behalf to see if there was a way to change the text size, and I found something better: a way to open up the same Help content in my web browser! It was in the preferences for the Help app. Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly where it was, because now my InDesign help for both CS5 and CS5.5 open in Firefox, and I can't figure out how to get it back into that abysmal Help app. I remember it was in Preferences, but I can't for the life of me remember which pane it was in. It's in there, though, so you should be able to dump the Adobe help browser forever.
