So the images displayed as expected before replacing the motherboard? Are you using the same catalog in LR, so all the images have the same settings as before?

Yes, no software changes, the tech just replaced the MB and tested the system

I have a GTX 470 video board. I know it's working because Premiere Mercury Playback Engine sees it.

I don't think it's the raw driver since I was able to do an export to jpg which looked good.

Here's what it looks like. ACDsee raw and Jpgs look fine; also, my exports to SmugMug look fine.

Looks like the white balance is off. Can you give us another screen shot of the develop module with the Basic settings showing?

Many of the images are orginal - set to "As shot". I'll import a new raw as test. Pleae bare in mind that I did a sucessful export from these crappy looking raw thumbnails wheich were just fine. Thus it can't be extreme development setting or the camera raw driver.

Get did a new import of one cr2 (raw). The preview on the Import screen looked fine BUT the imported images is bad - both in Development and Library...

THis has to be a LR setting of Version 4 bug!!!

You said that everything looked fine before replacing the motherboard, that takes the posibility of an LR bug out of this equation.

Did you replace the motherboard with the exact same model? If not, have you reinstalled your device drivers?

That new screenshot of LR helps. We can see that the white point is entirely off just by looking at the histogram, instead of displaying as grey, it's displaying as pink. Lightroom is a color managed application, I don't know about ACDSee, but I doubt it. What profile are you using for your display? Have you calibrated your monitor?

PS has the same problem. The MD was replaced to fix a bootup problem; Don't know if there was a version update.

Maybe you're right about the diver - but why then is Windows and ACDSee ok? Is there a way to update the driver in LR and PS?

Maybe I need to reinstall - had to go there though

Photoshop is also color managed. This means that are affected by your monitor profile, while non-color managed applications are not.

Drivers are software that control hardware. Software, like LR and PS, do not have drivers.

Reinstalling is not going to fix this.

You need to disable the monitor profile you are using.

I've removed and recreated the monitor profiles but no change. That seems to be on the right track though.

I'm stuck at this point. I guess the only option let is to call adobe.

RESOLVED!!!

When I rebooted this morning, I had a Windows Update notice. One of those pending updates was for NVIDIA, So , after the update and reboot it's workingf fine now.

In conclusion; It appears that the GPX 470 driver had to be updated and patched by Window 7 in order to work properly with the new Motherboard.
