Does anyone know if Lightroom already support the Canon eos 5D Mark III?
I want to buy LR4, but is there isn't still support, I will wait.

Ashvin,
Greetings. LR4 will currently only use files from the 5DMkIII when converted to DNG files, however,
if you download the 4.1RC it will work for your files. It is not currently advised when this RC will be
an upgrade, but it will be shortly. Good luck with your new camera. Love mine.

Hi pixcasey,
I appreciated you defending newbies asking questions.
Please don't spoil that starting to abuse.
Hi Agfaclack,
The search function on this forum is not so well designed that it would be sure-proof to find what one may be searching.
There is no sense starting a crusade against people who are less able to find answers.
As you seem to be perfect in searching the internet the clutter should be easy to get ignored by you.
A general advice for "education":
Encourage wanted behaviour by friendly and helpful replies,
Ignore unwanted behaviour (or if a question seems to be too silly to you).

Cornelia-l,
Thank you for your response to this thread that has gotten more than a little out of hand.
I am normally a reader and not a poster on the forum. I responded as the OP in my mind
was obviously new, and likely not a native English speaker. English is my native tongue
and I assure all of you, that unlike a google search, unless you use just the right set of words
in the right order and stand on your left foot and touch you nose, you will not likely find what
you are looking for on many interest specific forums. Some work better than others, obviously,
but I can also understand how this can be quite daunting for a non-native English speaker.
I have done all I can to try to diffuse this in a nice way, and I guess it's just time to say thanks,
Cornelia-l, for all your insiteful posts and I am outta here.
Kind regards to all.

Ashvin, Lr4.1RC which is available through Adobe Labs supports the 5DIII. This is a beta software of version 4.1 and is available at no cost. Being an RC version means there may still be some issues that "field testing" may uncover. I would recommend having a look at it and trying it out with copies of your files initailly.
