Adobe Air

Hello together,

 

our customer has send an technical question. I hope you can help me.

Is it necessary to install Adobe Air when he wants to see his app (and folios) with newsstand?

Is ist a generell standard for all apps?

    iOS Newsstand or Amazon Newsstand?

     

    iOS Newssatnd = NO. The iPad app is a "native" iOS application that doesn't need the Adobe Air mediator.

     

    Amazon Newsstand = I'd say YES. I have no experience with Amazon Newsstand, but I rely on my experience with Android viewers that prompt you to install Adobe Air when you install the app.

    do you know, wheather "normal" multi-folio apps for android devices need adobe air?

    Currently, all Android apps are multi-folio (single edition is iPad only) and they all need Adobe Air.
