Our publishing organization has been using InCopy for several months, and we've never had a problem with the "Notes" function. However, a couple weeks ago I noticed that the notes that I had created in the document I was working on disappeared at some point (I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly when--they were there for most of the time I was working, but had disappeared by the time I went to package the assignment). I thought this was a fluke until an editor mentioned he'd had the same problem. Today a remote copy editor submitted his work, and all of the notes have been cleared.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, can you provide any guidance on how we might both recover these notes and keep them from disappearing in the future?
You accidentally pressed the keyboard shortcut (or chose the menu item) to Hide Notes I'll bet. View > Hide/Show Notes.
Same thing happened to someone last week who thought her tracked changes had disappeard (View > Hide/Show Changes).
