Apr 19, 2012 3:35 AM

Hi,

Im having some problems with slideshows.

I have a full screen slideshow of pictures, and some text and buttons over it.

When seen in the iPad I can see the texts and buttons but its like transparent..

Is there something wrong??

It's simple really - I was having the same problems. I'm assuming your text and buttons are NOT part of the slideshow, and as such, they move beneath the overlay once converted into a .folio.

ALL static assets are moved beneath an overlay, regardless of the layer they are on or the stacking order once converted to a .folio. The solution is to embed these items into the slideshow. Chapter 3 of the USING ADOBE DIGITAL PUBLISHING SUITE document explains this and other best practices for creating interactive overlays.

    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/digitalpubsuite_help .pdf

    I hope this helps!

As the previous poster says, you can make them a part of the slideshow, or turn them into MSOs, and place them above the slideshow (Layers Panel.)
