Hi, I just want to know which version of Acrobat is used to convert PDF files to Word documents.

Good day Rachel,

Our ExportPDF service uses technology similar to the 'Save as Word' functionality you would find in Adobe Acrobat X, however it is not the same.

Thanks for the additional info David but your answer does not address the quesiton. She's asking what version of Acrobat can be used to export Word documents not what other tools can be used to do so. Her issue may be one like mine where I have a paid version that cannot export to Word and a demo version that ironically can.

Good day Mike,

As the question was posted in our ExportPDF forum, I was answering her with our current options for converting PDF documents to Word.

In terms of Acrobat features, the ability to export or save a PDF document as a Word file has been in Acrobat since at least version 8. It's possible this feature was in Acrobat 7, but I cannot recall.

As for the issue you described in your other thread, I hope the answer I've provided helps!
