Good afternoon. I'm having difficulties with the DIV tag and AP DIv tag. I've created a basic page with a container (#container). Within that container I've added a AP DIV (#header) for my header and image. The problem I'm running into is everytime I go to create a DIv Tag, the tag is thrown at the top of the container where the header is. When I created the Div Tag I used - Insert Div Tag -> Insert (After tag) -> <div id ='header'> (from the pull down) -> ID (navigation) -> New Css Rule (only added a background). This is driving me nuts! I've used other 'insert' options but nothing seems to work. Also Ive set my preferences to Nesting within the properties. Thanks much in advance...
Start over with a pre-built CSS layout from the links Gramps pointed you to.
Avoid using APDivs for primary layouts. You don't need them. Used improperly for primary layouts, APDivs actually create more problems than you realize. Here's why: http://apptools.com/examples/pagelayout101.php
