Applying textures on videos.

I'm trying to apply a texture on a video and this texture I created has an image transffered onto it and the reason I'm doing this is to get rid of the nasty squared border of my video. I've tried every way I can think of applying the textured image although it makes the video very dark. I used the silhoutte luma to achieve this. I'm not sure if theres any other way but at the moment, I can't find any

Would appreciate the help please, thank you!

So above, my video on the left and my textured collage on the right. I want to use some siginificant parts of the textured collage for the video to achieve a a border around it like this:

As well as using some of the textures on the video as well.

I'm not really sure I understand your objective. You can overlay one layer on the other to blend the pixels in all different ways, but this wont really create a border like in the lower example. You can use Photoshop to build your collage into a more border like entity and then overlay it onto your footage. Without very specific descriptions of what you're trying to achieve, it's hard to give you much meaningful instruction.
