Posting a link

Apr 21, 2012 6:32 PM

Hi,

If you want someone to look at something a piece of design work you've done but they need to see it as a link, what's the easist way to do that?

Add a page to my website? Or is there something simpler?

Thanks very much.

    What format is it in?

If it's a PDF or similar then upload to your website and give them a direct link.

    e.g. http://www.mywebsite.com/images/piece-of-design-work-to-be-reviewed.pd f

When they click on it, it will download straight to their computer and they can view it.

If its a file (zip/ pdf/ something similar), you could use www.sendspace.com to send it out. It'll upload the file there and send a link to it to the user that you want to share it with.

www.yousendit.com is a good site too.

Or, if you have your own website host, you could upload it on your server and give them the link.
