Design Premium CS5.5 upgrade

I have Design Premium CS5.5 and plan to upgrade to CS6.

May I still use CS5.5 on my laptop?

    With photoshop, at least, it is generally accepted that you can have two instances of the app installed on different systems, so long as you only use one at a time.   So you could actually have CS6 installed on your desktop _and_ laptop

    I thought as much, but I can't find it documented anywhere. I actually have three places I would like Design Premium on. I have a Imac, a laptop and my grandson has his Imac.

    I was hoping that by having both CS5.5 and CS6, I might make this happen.

    I don't think that will work, because you'd need CS5 activated to enable the upgrade on the same system.
