Crash while importing images from CF card!!

Hi everybody,

I have a huge problem!

I had yesterday a photoshoot, today I was importing my images from my CF card to my local drive C: with Lightroon 4... Everything was fine, till a moment I get an error of Windows: "you need to format the disk in drive before you can use it."

I rejected my card, insterted in my dslr to check if picture still available, but on my screen I see the same error message 'Format first the card to use it'

I don't know how to solve this problem ! the 50% of my images are not imported and I need them. How can I solve this problem ? !

Please help

Looks like a corrupted/damaged CF card (not a Lr issue) - but can you copy the files direct from the card to a hard drive using Windows Explorer?

If you can, you can then get to them via Lr: but if not, you might be in trouble.

Whatever you do do NOT format the card or try to shoot pictures with the card in the camera.
