I can't edit my keyframes in after effects? (please help)

Okay so the other day I purchase after effects, everything was working fine until this happened:

This is really bugging me and i've uninstalled and reinstalled with no results.

Just explain to me all the options i can take towards fixing this.

    You simply have hidden the A/V column. Right-click on the column headers and reveal it from the list. If it has shrunk together so you can't expand it again, trash the prefs to restore factory defaults.

    im sorry, really new to this. Where is the A/V column, and how to i track my prefs?
