I am working on several projects.  If I could retain some files in Open Recent, I could be more efficient.

    In Prefs/File Handling

     

    You can enter the number of files in the box at the bottom of this dialog:

    Drag folders, or individual files to the Favourites panel in Bridge.  Then un-pin them when the project is finished.
