Switched to Apple--Can I use my Windows Elememts 6 serial # if I download new

I just switched to Apple--Can I use my Windows Elememts 6 serial # if I download new OS X software from Adobe?  Do I have to purchase again?

    No you will not be able to swap your Windows Photoshop Elements 6 serial number and install media for a Macintosh Photoshop Elements 6 serial number and install media.  We do offer this but only for the current version which is version 10.  You do qualify for the upgrade pricing for Photoshop Elements 10 however.  You can find additional details at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html.

    The adobe 'upgrade price' is $11 more expensive than the regular price on

    Amazon.  What gives?

    Buy from Amazon.  Their prices of Adobe software are usually less than Adobe's, Amazon's customer service is infinitely superior compared to Adobe's, you'll get the box a lot faster, and—depending on where you live—you'll save the sales tax.
