draw a text box and use type -> paste lorem ipsum.

make sure text color is not white on a white background .

works fine here.

It needs to have a text box or a shape to paste into. Were you trying to paste Lorem Ipsum with with only the type insertion?

I tried it by opening a New transparent layer and selecting the tool Text icon to make a text layer. Then opened a box to add type into the layer and then the lorem ipsum selection in Type Menu will allow you to paste the paragraph or what ever it is into your layer text box...You can then highlight the text and view it in what ever font, color or attribute you want..The paragraph is in Latin maybe?. I used wide Latin font here. Have fun with it... Hope my instructions were not too confusing.

Thank you for all your helpful replies but actually this is not what I found

The first image shows "Paste Lorem ipsum" in the menu but what I found was "Lorem ipsum" only without paste and I followed all your instructions and tried many times but it never worked.

I'm using middle eastern Photoshop that supports arabic and may be there is a problem in this option here

you use the official beta or the CS6 release that appears on .. lets say some unofficial websites?

i just had someone ask me why the LUT adjustement layer was not working.. and it was because he was not using the official beta.

While looking at Preferences in CS 6 I came across this. It may apply to your CS6. It is a setting to allow either East Asian or Middle Eastern to be used in the Text Engine option. Hope this helps.

I found the link that I used to download the beta, it's not from the Adobe site

it seems that I will redownload it but from the Adobe site this time

OK, so you downloaded a pirated version of a much older prerelease build. Now you need to make sure that your anti-virus is up to date and working correctly and the malware you downloaded with that pirated copy isn't causing problems.
