fill & stroke are greyed out in swatch palette (CS5)

Need help please as my fill & stroke are showing greyed out in the header of my swatch palette (CS5). Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    What, if anything, is selected?

     

    Screen shots will help, too. You can emebed them in your posts by uisng the camera icon on the wb page like this:

    If you have an image selected (the content of the frame, not the frame itself), you would not have access to stroke and fill, but if you have a frame selected, or nothing, and you still cannot access the stroke or fill, it's time to try resetting the prefs. See Replace Your Preferences

    Hi Peter,

     

    Sorry I found a post for the same problem that included the preference restore as you supplied and thats solved the problem now.
