Currently using OSX Lion, and for some reason all other computers (win7 and Macs) on the network here where I work cannot see image icons anymore on the files that I save using CS6. This was never a problem before in previous versions of Photoshop and only seems to affect any os here that isnt LION, including Snow Lep and WinXP thru 7. When someone else is viewing the documents all they see is a grey box where the thumbnail would usually be.
It's causing a headache for some of the people here that I work with. So i'm bouncing back and forth between CS6 and CS4 (never upgraded to 5).
Any idea if there is a setting I need to change in this version of PS? Or is this a bug? Thanks!
So wait, when browsing through files using the finder on osx 10.6 and 10.5 there will not be preview thumbnails anymore? If that's the case then that really sucks, we use that to browse thousands of PDF documents here everyday for press. Also, there is no PS icon. Where there would bo one is an empty space, and when single clicked on there is a white box surrounded by a grey line.
Anyway to get bridge for free? The 8 G5 macs we use here do not have Photoshop installed on them, as they do not need it. It just seems odd to me that this simple feature that every program including all previous versions of PS is now gone. I guess I will have to see if there is a free program for that for OSx, seems unseccessary though. Probably just going to have to stick with CS4.
I can see what you are saying about being a little strange to complain about that, but, it worked before. As you can see in the screenshot. So, maybe im trying more or less to point this issue out, given this is a beta.
P.S. I just went over and checked this issue on another machine that does have a previous version of Photoshop on it and the same issue occurs. Like the screenshot posted above.
