Student License CS4 upgrade to Student License CS6?

Is it possible to upgrade student versions to a newer student version? Or is it only possible to upgrade to commercial from student license?

    There are no special student deals for upgrades.  But of course (assuming you still qualify) you can buy a full student license for the new version.

     

    But even full-priced upgrades are not terribly expensive.

    I know there is not student discount to upgrade from an education version to a newer education version. But...

    can you upgrade from an education (student) version to a commercial version? (upgrade pricing). Or must you now buy a new full version at the full version price vs the upgrade price?

    Yes, you can upgrade from an education version to a commercial version at the regular commercial upgrade price.

    So this means i can upgrade CS4 student edition to CS6 commercial edition for £357.60 (CS4 Production Premium > CS6 Production Premium)? If so thats great news and will be doing this instead

    Yes; sorry if I wasn't clear.  That's what I meant by "even full-priced upgrades are not terribly expensive".

    Upgrade to CS Production Premium 5.5 before the special offer ends (May 5?) then you get a free upgrade to Production Premium CS6.  I don't know what the price will be in GBP because it is always a hassle trying to look at other country sites.  Adobe and other companies tend to re-direct you to the country site they think you should be on, and I find this extremely annoying...  It should be cheaper than upgrading from CS4 to CS6 directly.
