Slugish!

I have been designing for the new retina display and it looks great. But I have seen a whole lot of slggishness within the app. I know everyone is talking about the second or two to focus in on images, but my problems go a lot further. Image Sequences take 3-4 seconds to happen even when they are auto play. Also, just swipping pages takes a few seconds sometimes.

Anyone else seen anything like this?

    Other than the second or two to focus (and even that is only during the initial open).  I haven't had ay problems.  Well not true, jumping around using a bunch of navto:// links while the pages aren't in focus will cause the app to crash.

    I got an iPad 3 over the weekend and I've noticed a few lags in load time, but nothing like you're having.

    I notice a bit of lagging as well using 2048 folios. Perhaps I'll run some tests to compare time...

    Most of the pages are slightly slugish which stinks and I hope the app can be optomized better in the future to deal with retina. But what really bothers me is how it takes 4-5 seconds to load auto play image sequences.
