The latest version is 3.6. How do you get 3.7?

3.6 is the latest version and the last version according to the Adobe blog. http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2012/03/raw-support-in-lightro om-and-camera-raw.html
After reading the discussions on the web page, it appears that I am not the only person who is less than pleased with my software product. Got any suggestions that a reasonable person would live with. I am about to change my mind on being a loyal Adobe customer. Nikon’s products work, and that is better than Adobe.

can I export from lightroom a photo to CS4 in RAW CR2 format for further manipulation
It will be necessary for you to use the " render a copy with Lightroom adjustments" and send that copy to Photoshop CS4. Photoshop, even the current version, does not actually edit the raw image. By the time the image is open in Photoshop, it is no longer raw image data. And even the current version must save an image edited in Photoshop to a new file such as TIF or PSD.
However, since you are using an older version of Photoshop, and since ACR is used in the conversion process from Lightroom to Photoshop, all of the new features in ACR cannot be read and interpreted. That is why it would be necessary for you to render the copy and send that to Photoshop.

Same problem, but...
I've downloaded and installed the 3.6 upgrade at least 4 times and when I click on the "about" it still says i'm on version 3.0, and if I check for updates it still says I need the 3.6.
I've also downloaded the DNGConverter7.1 twice. "About" informs me that I have Camera raw 6.1.
None of the .NEF files from my NIKON D7000 will import into LR3.

In the past, I've noticed that sometimes some of my pictures from my SD card are not presented as an option to be uploaded. Yesterday I did a family session and took some pics in auto format and some in manual. I notice that the ones in manual, which were somehow just taken in RGB, are not showing up for me import. Can't figure out why that is...??? Help!
Hi,
I've got a Nikon D600 and always shoot in NEF RAW format and before I've been able to use the Lightroom with my files on a diferent computer which broke down... Now I'm on a new computer with Lightroom 3, which is
Lightroom version: 3.6 [795620]
Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium Edition
Version: 6.1 [7601] and now it says it won't recognise the files and I can't import at all or view... What's going on... I'm using sme serial number that i used in my previous instalation...
Also I tried updating Lighroom but it says I've got the current version.
If anyone can help would be great ![]()
