How do I update my serial number

So I bought the student version of LR4. I downloaded it and then proceeded to get the 4.1 RC so I could use it with my 5D3. This was before I had my serial number emailed to me. Before I updated with the 4.1RC when I would open the program, it would tell me I had x amount of days left on the 30 day trial (this has all happeded today). Now that I have the4.1RC running, it does not ask me that. It just opens. I got my serial number in the mail and I want to activate it. Anyone know how I can do this? thanks

    You will not have to apply the serial to the RC version. When you install the 4.1 final you wll have to input the serial number to use beyond 30 days
