the longstanding scripts-in-actions bug

In case it is true that with the announcement of the new version the beta testers are relieved of the non-disclosure-agreement (as I think I read somewhere):

Can anybody tell yet if Scripts in Actions will finally be maintained after restarting the appplication in Illustrator CS6?

    Does not appear fixed in the late beta I have. Scripts vanish from actions when the app is relaunched.

    I can’t remember for sure if I filed a report, but I have added my support and started a thread in the Feature Request section.

    The Adobe team should have been aware of this for a looong time now in any case, because the issue has persisted at least since CS, if I remember correctly.

    You don't have to convince me   Just saying that the forums mean little compaired to an actual bug report.

    Like I said I can’t remember if I had filed a report … so I made sure and filed one (or possibly »another one«) today.

     

    Just saying that the forums mean little compaired to an actual bug report.

    I’m fairly active on the Photoshop Fora and a couple of Adobe employees working on Photoshop are quite active there, so one gets the feeling that Feature Requests are actually read and the requests are given at least some consideration – even if they may then be deemed impractical, not worth the trouble, nonsensical …

    The Illustrator team’s approach seems to be somewhat different.

    in this day and age, I could disconnect, unplug my tv, never come out of my house or plain go live under a rock, then I wouldn't know about the all the bad news going on...If Adobe chooses not to come to the forums, then there's one possible answer for not fixing the long standing bugs in the program.

    The misconduct is there since Illustrator 10 (the first version that supported scripting, just about twelve years ago).

    Remarkable how long such a seemingly minor bug has been maintained. (I used the qualifier »seemingly« because I’m aware that I haven’t the slightest how difficult it would be to remedy that.)

     

    Is the Illustrator team being starved for resources or is efficient automation just deemed below (or above) the average Illustrator user or what else could be behind such consistency?
