Possible to enlarge image on iMac to fill screen?

Hi

 

I use an iMac with LR3.  I would like to know if it is possible to enlarge the image so as to fill the screen.  I have tried Window>screen mode> full screen and pressing L to get rid of panels but there is still a large black margin around the image. 

 

I'd be grateful for any help.  Thanks.

    First press F until LR fills the screen. Then press Shift+Tab to turn off all the panels. Then press T to hide the toolbar.

     

    That will get you pretty close to full screen.

     

    You can also press Command+Return to do a slideshow but I think you'd have to edit the slideshow defaults to actually fill the screen.
