I generate a new sdk on a windows OS using the following method: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/899921, but with 3.3 Beta.
1. Locate the "old" SDKs
2. Make a copy of the previous SDK
3. Overwrite the copied
SDK with the AIR3.3 BETA SDK
4. Set a name for the new SDK and edit flex-sdk-description.xml
5. Add the new playerglobal.swc from Flash Player 11.2
6. Add the AIR3.3 Beta SDK to Flash Builder under "Project Settings - Flex Compiler"
7. Add the AIR3.3 Beta SDK to Flash Builder under "Project Settings - Flex Compiler"
8. Add -swf-version=14 as a compiler flag.
9. Restart Flex Builder 4.6
10. Create Flex Mobile Project
I have problems creating a new Flex Mobile Project. It says "Air 3.3 Beta does not support mobile projects".
However, I have no problem creating a Flex Project (Web & AIR) and ActionScript Mobile Project.
My question is, am I doing something wrong? Or is the Air 3.3 Beta limited to only for creating projects for Web, AIR and Actionscript Mobile Projects?
Thanks
So, I am using 3.3 Beta 2 with Flash Builder 4.6 on Mac - and it works.
I do not use the swf-version compiler flag - I adapt the config files in framework (just search for <target-player> and <swf-version> in frameworks config files)
Did you really download the current playerglobal from here: http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/flashplatformruntimes/flashplay er11-3/flashplayer11-3_p2_playerglobal_041812.swc? This maybe even a cause of the problem...
I am trying to get 3.3 Beta 2 with Flash Builder 4.6 on Windows 7 x64bit to work. But still no luck.
I have Flash Builder 4.6 on Win7 to work no problem.
I have updated the playerglobal.swc to 11.3 using http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/flashplatformruntimes/flashplay er11-3/flashplayer11-3_p2_playerglobal_041812.swc
but still run into the same problem below:
I can't go through the steps to create a new Flex Mobile Project because of the following error "Air 3.3 Beta does not support mobile projects".
However, I have no problem creating a Flex Project (Web & AIR) and ActionScript Mobile Project.
