Can't open abobe flash player file on Kindle Fire

Where do I find and how do I install Flash Player on my new Kindle Fire?  I seem to be able to download something but when I click on it on my Fire I get a message that the file won't open.*

I don't have a Kindle Fire to test against, but take a look at this post that explains how one user was able to use Flash with their Kindle.

That's definitely helpful, but still doesn't help with most sites that I've tried.
