In europe. Adobe products costs like 2 times than they do at USA
so my question is if i order illustrator from USA can i use it in Europe?
Example. Can i when it will become availeable buy Illustrator CS6 directly from Adobe website. Pay 599USD and use it in europe? without worrying any stupid legal issues just because I bought it from another continent
thanks
its just so retarderded. if its not allowed. its just a software. you get your DVD or installer and thats it.
I am from estonia
example CS 5 costs ca 800 euros here aka around 1050 USD. so you see why i would like to get it from where is cheaper.
And what about downlaod version from adobes website? why its not supposed?
and i really dont care about the support stuff. calling USA would cost a lot
If its a no you cant do. its time to look Corel stuff ![]()
Hmm estonia adn I guess if you are on a windows based box why not if it works for you.
No one here is going to make any money no matter what you do.
Itt may not matter to you about support but I am thinking the difference in the cost is that Adobe has to maintain a support prograam for estonia, that has to cost money.
I don't entirely disagree with you. I think it it is a bit unfair I understand thay might have to rais the fee because of the cost of bring the apps and the support to meet the needs of your location but I foten wonder if they go a bit far or if they reduce the cost they would get so many more users in those locaation that the cost of suupport would be covered even with t he reduce price.
I have already made the argument to this effect but I think with subscription they might be able to eventually make the price more equitable but someone has to come up with an idea of how to do so.
Luke that is true but the price on the Adobe wensite does not include the VAT the same as it does not include sales tax here.
The cost of doing business in Europe and else other than the States is higher and download or not there is probably a tariff because the product is from the U.S. Company.
so because you have things like that there Adobe thought. Oh lets screw those damn europeans?
I just need a software
what about this?
can you buy older software version somewhere? example is it possible to buy cs 4? it should be cheaper. Then upgrade it to cs 6 if needed?
I now you can buy it from ebay or amazon, but thats not legal i think?
To go back to your original question, the U.S. Adobe store won't let you order a product from Europe, but you can take a trip to the U.S. and buy it there. The trip will be financed by the money you save on the software. The downside is, if you ever want to upgrade your software to a newer version, your U.S. product serial number will only upgrade to a U.S. version (at least that is what someone in the Photoshop forum reported), so you have to keep taking trips to the U.S. every time you want to upgrade.
You can buy software from other vendors, and it is only illegal if you buy a pirated copy. If you buy from Amazon.com direct, you will get legitimate software, but they won't ship Photoshop to Europe. If you buy from the Amazon marketplace or eBay you are taking a risk because you can't count on legitimate software from an unauthorized re-seller.
To my knowledge, if you have a Creative Suite, you can only upgrade to another Suite, not an individual program. If you want to upgrade to Photoshop Extended CS6 for example, you need to have a previous stand-alone version of Photoshop or Photoshop extended. You can check the upgrade eligilibity on your local Adobe Store.
