Skewing a grouped object

I feel pretty special asking this but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to skew a logo to match the perspective of an illustrated box and I'm using Free Transform to try to skew it and all it's letting me do it scale or rotate the object. I tried adding a rectangular path around it to see if I could skew it but that didn't work either? Holding down CTRL or ALT doesn't let me do it either.

    What is the nature of the logo? A raster image? Live Type? These two items can't be distorted via Free Transform.

     

    You can use Object > Envelope Distort > Make with Mesh > 1 Row, 1 Column. Then select the art and use Free Transform.

    It's just a grouped vector object. I just tried making the mesh and using Free Transform and I was still only able to rotate or scale it?

    If the object are simply straight vectors, I'd trash prefs and try again.

    Never mind I figured it out. I knew it had to be something simple. I wasn't dragging before I held down CTRL. I hate when such little things drive me crazy.
