trouble with inapp subscription

I think i am missing some point in setting up the subscription service for my magazine.


Til now i have sucessfully sold single issues.

They have product ID-s in Adobe server as:







Now i want to add subscriptoin option for my customers.

I createn new version of the app with newsstand and subscription enabled.

Inside the app i declared 1year subscriotion ID as companyname.publicationname.1yearsubscription.


In itunes inapp purchases section every single issue has its record as non-consumabel with according product ID from Adobe server (

I added new purcase to inapps as "Auto-Renewable Subscription" with product id companyname.publicationname.1yearsubscription.


Apple gives me error, because they do not see my subscription product.


There is no such Product ID in Adobe server, because everi issue has its own Product ID.


So. How do i must set up my product ID for subscription service?

I have read the manual, but that point is still unclear to me.

    What is the error that you got (from Apple?) ; did you test the subscription before you submitted the app? as far as I can read so far, you are following the right process.


    What is the name of your application (link to the app on the iTunes store) ?

    For retail folio product IDs, you specify them on the Adobe side when publishing the folio, as you've done. For subscription duration product IDs, you specify them in Viewer Builder. See the companion guide PDF.


    When you're switching from a multi-folio app to a subscription app, you need to re-create your viewer in Viewer Builder. That means creating a new instance of the viewer. And remember to specify your shared secret using the account admin tool.

    I'm having the same exact issue and can't get any answers from Apple. I have an Adobe technical support person who is trying to help me but we haven't come up with any answers.
