I have a SWF that does not fade in or out. When I put it into Captivate it Fades in and out, even though I selected it to NOT Fade in or out. Help?
What I think I need is Flash CS6 (with the Creative JS Toolkit?).
I need to convert a website (90% Flash) into HTML5 so that it can be viewed with iPhone and iPad.
All conVerters thus far, fall short of doing it successfully.
I am hoping that Adobe gets it right as my Boss is flipping out because he cannot view the site on his i devices (neither can anyone else for that matter0.
Not good for business.
Any thoughts? You think the new version of Flash will convert 100% to HTML5?
I created the SWF and no, it does not fade in or out (well part of it fades in). You can view what the page looks like at http://www.bludwar.com
What I am trying to do is convert this page (and several others) to HTML5 so they can be viewed on the iPad and iPhone.
Thanks for any input you may have.
I don't think you understand me. Select the SWF object that you inserted into the Captivate slide and look on the Properties tab in the Transition accordion to see whether it has a Fade In or Fade Out transition applied.
Fading effects can be on the overall project, or on SWF objects at the Captivate level, or applied in Flash when the object was originally created there.
You claim the project has no fade in or fade out and that when you created the SWF in flash it did not have a fade in or fade out, but I'm not yet certain that you have ruled out whether the SWF in Captivate has a transition applied. This would likely be the default setting for all animations inserted into a Captivate project.
