Save using PDF Optimizer

    You need to be more specifc about the issue.  What is the error or exact behavior that you are experiencing?  Unless you describe it, those of us on the Forums can't really help.

    I am having a problem with Optimizer and with Save As Reduced File Size on documents that I scanned on my HP All-in-One Scanner.  I open the document and use the Save As dialogue and nothing happens - it stays the same size.    I'm using Acrobat X 10.1.4.  Any ideas??

    These functions aren't magic - they can only reduce when there is some slack to cut out. Maybe the scanner is doing a good job.

     

    Is the file size exactly the same, to the number of bytes? Does the modification date change?

    How about if you fiddle with image settings?
