Adding text to pdf

At my current company we use a website to fill out an adobe from that then prints the form to a pdf file. Our sales reps then need to get the customer to print their name and date and sign the form. I can use the signature tool to sign the document but I am looking for the ability to type in text onto the pdf form using the keyboard on the ipad or android tablet but I am not having any success. Is it possible to add typeset on a pdf file using adobe reader for the ipad?

    The Add Text feature is high on our list of enhancements that we’re considering in a future update.
