Corrupt Files won't open in Premiere Pro

I did a shoot last week on my Canon 5D and 1DMk4 cameras and, while I can watch the .mov clips in QuickTime on my Mac, there is no 'time remaining' on the right side of the scrub bar, only time elapsed. But what's much worse, is that I can't open or edit the files in Premiere Pro. Somehow the files have been corrupted. Since I can still watch them in QT, there must be some way to repair them?? Thanks in advance.

You need QuickTime 7 installed (not QuickTime X) to import QuickTime files in Premiere Pro.

I don't think that can be it; I don't have any problem getting any other clips from my camera into Premiere, just these ones. I've got QT7 as well as QTX too.

You can modify and save movies out of QuickTime if you have QuickTime Pro installed. (It's a useful utility for only $29.95, I think.) Try doing that.

Actually, even before that, try opening the movies in Adobe Media Encoder.
