Saving Eyedropped Color into "Recolor Artwork"

Apr 25, 2012 5:02 PM

Hey guys,

I want to save an eyedropped color (from a jpg) to a swatch in the Recolor Artwork window so I can apply it over a gradient in my shape.

Is this possible & if so how can i do it?

Many thanks for ur answers,

Josh

Save the color as a Swatch in teh Swatch Panel. It will then be accessible from Recolor Art.

In the Live Color dialog window, under the Assign tab... double click the color you want to replace on the right.... hit the "Color Swatches" button... pick the swatch.

If your gradient was originally make with a Global color swatch and tints of that color, then just Option-drag the new global swatch onto the original. Otherwise I don't know.
