What I've been doing is not using the navigattion in "preview" mode instead opening your site in browser mode (not single page view). It takes a little time to compile the underlying code, but consider "preview" for just the page you're working on. I've not had any problem since using the process. I've uploaded my html files to my cloud service and it all functions as designed barring some of the traveling objects.
