Hi I am new to this forum . I have a form that i have edited in using adobe live cycle .I have added a e-mail submit button on my pdf form . The data in the form is converted to XML file by default and opens up in IE .Is there any other way( to script) to directly send it to the e-mail id? I have tried searching in forums for the same but have not found anything relating to it.
Any help will be highly appreciated .
Regards
Jay
How it is sent depends on the client's e-mail configuration. In some cases, the e-mail link will not work at all because MAPI is not active. You are better off sending the information to a web script. If you wish, that script could forward the e-mail information to you. Depending on your use, e-mail may not even be appropriate -- basically if personal information is included -- since e-mail is not a secure form of submission. You might find questions on LiveCycle forms more completely answered int he LiveCycle forum.
