Cleaning up HD space after Premiere - finding where the important files are.

Apr 27, 2012 5:55 PM

OK so after doing a project in premiere and using Audition for sound (and it making a million sound files, most of which i didnt even use in the end product anyway) I just want to delete everything off my drive related to the project BUT that didnt make it into the final cut. I notice Audition has made a ton of folders within folders within folders and I have auto save folders galore. So I'm wondering what the easiest way would be to go about finding out which files the final cut of the project is utilising so i can safely delete all the other " junk".

Project Manager enables the trimming/relocating of projects - giving several options in the process.

However, I am currently experiencing problems when trimming projects with AE links in the timeline.  PP CS5.5 appears not to relink it once trimmied - and displays it as an offline file.
