How to SAVE Rotate View...

Apr 28, 2012 2:20 PM

My operating system is Windows XP and I am using Adobe Reader 9 version 9.5.1.  I will let you know in advance, I am NOT computer savvy.  Thus, if you are able to help me, please provide easy to understand, step by step instructions.  I appreciate your help.

I just scanned a document using Adobe Reader 9 version 9.5.1 to my computer, and I assumed when I opened the file it would show in the correct "portrait" view, but it is showing as "landscape".  I went to "View" and then "Rotate View" then "Clockwise" once...and now document is in correct position.  What do I do to SAVE it this way?  Thank you in advance!

With just the free Reader no, you can't. If you don't have Acrobat, I would suggest scanning the document again, this time in portrait orientation.

You may want to find support for your scanning software. Reader will just view what is created but isn't actually involved in the creation process. Good luck.

Install a pdf file printer driver and print the rotated file to the "pdf" printer. It will ask you for a file name to "print" to. The "printed" file will open in the correct orientation.
